Life brings a variety of experiences that can be difficult to understand. Counseling provides an opportunity to develop an understanding of ones self to feel better equipped to handle the world around you. If you are experiencing discomfort in life by feeling depressed or anxious, counseling may be a good fit for you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with certifications from NAADAC (National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Counselors) as a Masters level Addiction Counselor and as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) to work with the Department of Transportation (DOT). I am also certified as a sex therapist through AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) and EMDRIA for EMDR trauma therapy.
I am experienced in providing mental health, addiction, and sex therapy services, which also includes experience in performing chemical dependency evaluations to determine diagnosis and appropriate recommendations to meet a person's identified needs. Currently, I provide individual, couples, family, and sex therapy services in an office and tele-health setting. It is my belief that counseling is an individual process where a person's needs are identified and the therapeutic approach is uniquely designed to facilitate growth toward a happy, safe, and healthy lifestyle.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Counseling can be beneficial to couples and families who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples or all family members in a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
